Abay – Organizational Structure

Abay Bank has redesigned and implemented a new organizational structure that aligns with its corporate strategy as well as helps it keep very well in touch with its customers. According to the new organogram, the General Assembly of shareholders presides over a nine member Board of Directors which has the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank directly reporting to it. The Bank is organized into 22 Departments which report directly to their respective Chief Officers. The Bank also has seven District Offices organized to support the Bank’s strategic moves to enhance its service outreach as well as strengthen the monitoring and follow-up of its well over 500 odd branches, and counting.
