Abay Bank, Raxio Ethiopia Data Center Company Ink MoU

Abay Bank and Raxio Ethiopia Data Center Company have inked Memorandum of Understanding to work in partnership.

Elias Birhanu, the Bank’s Chief Information Officer, and Degol Gosaye, General Manager, Raxio Ethiopia Data Center Company, have signed the agreement at the Headquarters of the Bank.

During the signing ceremony, Elias noted that the agreement enables the Bank to use advanced data center, which help to optimize the overall data storage and processing capability of the Bank. This helps to address the vast and growing need for database management facilities in the banking environment to manage data securely and optimally, Elias added.

Degol, on his part, said the agreement enables the Bank to store and process its customers’ data in an efficient and secured way by using the hi-tech data center Roxio provide, which in effect enhance the Bank’s customer service experience. Degol added.

Roxio Data Center is providing its services in 7 Africa countries.
